T2 × Chess & Jazz - a quiz for a festival stand
The order came from the agency running the T2 activation at the Chess & Jazz festival on 25 and 26 July 2026. The stand needed a quiz: a visitor answers a question, shows the screen to a promoter, and gets a gift. Festival deadlines and a fixed budget, so the project was deliberately compact: a single page with no admin panel, no accounts, and no contact collection, built to the T2 partner brand guide.

Challenge
The quiz had to work where festival internet is unreliable: on visitors’ phones via a QR code and on a shared tablet at the stand. One attempt per person, a gift only for a correct answer, and three numbers for the client afterwards: sessions, unique visitors, and correct answers. And no personal data at all.

Added a mode for the shared tablet: the promoter taps “Next visitor” and the quiz starts over.

Made the quiz work offline: on a pre-opened tablet it is stored and does not depend on the venue internet.

Connected the client’s Yandex Metrika: view, start, correct and incorrect answer. With no network, events queue up and are sent later.

Built it to the T2 partner brand guide: the operator’s grid, spacing, colors, and fonts.
RESULT
- The quiz launched on t2chezz.ru by 24 July and ran through both festival days.
- The client got the final numbers from its own Metrika without collecting personal data.
- The project fit the fixed budget: extra scope was cut before the start.
